These structures, originate from an estimated 230 year old black poplar. It now grows on the grounds of the Berlin-Zentrum District Association of the German Red Cross.⁠
 
This monumental tree is therefore almost 70 years older than the institution itself, which today has one of its headquarters there. And it reaches a height of 21 meters.⁠
