Mobile Glassblowing for Festivals and Markets — Live Glassblowing at Your Event
Glowing glass draws people in. Wherever our furnace is set up, people stop, watch, ask questions and stay longer at your venue.
We work in front of an audience all day: glass is gathered, blown and shaped, step by step and with explanations. Most recently at the summer festival celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Glass Museum Weißwasser, in front of more than 300 guests.
FORMATS

* Hands-on station for visitors, for example a glass medallion they stamp themselves with your motto
* Both at the same time at two stations
Who it's for
Towns and municipalities, museums, cultural associations, Christmas and craft markets, festivals, open days.
What we need
An outdoor area of at least 4 × 6 m, fully covered, for example by a party tent. Power from a standard (Schuko) socket. The furnace runs on two 33-litre propane cylinders and is approved for outdoor use only.
Schedule, including multi-day events
Heating up takes just under six hours, so we arrive at least eight hours before the start. For multi-day events, the furnace runs continuously and switches to idle mode overnight. During the day we work non-stop: with the hands-on station during your event hours, and as a demonstration outside them. After the last day, the furnace and the pieces cool down overnight before we pack up.
Costs
Pricing is based on the number of event days, staff and travel. The base is the rental of the mobile studio, including setup and teardown, plus glassblower, assistant and transport. 50% deposit upon confirmed booking.
