Hand-blown one-offs
Every piece in this shop was blown by me at the furnace, in my workshop in Geltow on Lake Schwielowsee near Potsdam. Many shapes start with a 3D scan of an old tree, a rock formation or a glacier. The scan becomes a positive, the positive becomes a mould, and the glass is blown into it. Every piece is unique: colour, wall thickness and surface vary slightly from one to the next.

Momentum – vases based on striking trees in Berlin's parks and avenues.

Prunus Avium – based on a 3D scan of an old wild cherry tree in the Berlin Botanical Garden.

Cambio – identical wax blanks, exposed to different forces over a long period and translated into glass. Same origin, different character.

Unity – sandstone rock structures from Spain, cast and blown out with glass.

Fragments – lights based on the structures of the Pastoruri Glacier in Peru.
